Join SALGA for our monthly support group meeting.
The theme for this month will be
~ Family ~
We love them. They drive us crazy.
Come share your fears and stories around coming out to family members.
How are our families different than those of non-desis and how does that make it harder or easier to tell them who we are?
(As always, the topic is a guide, but please bring whatever issues are current for you as well.)
Date: Saturday, July 10th, 2010
Time: 4 - 6pm
Location: LGBT Center
SALGA’s monthly support group meetings are a SAFE, CONFIDENTIAL space for you to join a group atmosphere to talk about issues that affect your life and well-being. We provide a supportive atmosphere to all attendees..

Saturday, June 26th
Brunch - 1:30pm @ Dhaba (108 Lexington Ave. between 27th and 28th street)
March - 5pm @ Bryant Park (42nd St. and 6th Ave.)

Come march with SALGA dykes on June 26th. March starts at 5 p.m. sharp at Bryant Park. Please arrive by 4:45 at the latest. We will meet on the steps at Bryant Park. Bring posters, noisemakers, hula hoops.
The Dyke March was started in 1993 by the Lesbian Avengers in Washington, D.C. Dyke Marches now take place all over the world. The Dyke March is a protest march not a parade. We march in solidarity with all lesbians: those who are out and those who cannot be out, those who are loud and those who have been silenced. We will march until every lesbian in every corner of the world can raise her head high and be proud.
Please also join us for a delicious $9.95 lunch at Dhaba (108 Lexington Ave between 27th and 28th Street) starting at 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt as the restaurant closes at 3 pm. RSVPs are greatly appreciated.
Please call Aneesa at (917) 375-2584 if you have any trouble finding us.
We look forward to seeing you!
