We would like to invite you to join SALGA NYC in various marches/events this summer for Pride!

Queens Pride – Sunday, June 2, 2013

Join us in the march with our fabulous dance team, community, and allies as we march down 37th Avenue at the annual Queens Pride Parade!

Date: Sunday, June 2, 2013

Meet us on 83rd st and 37th avenue – 10:30 am.

Parade Starts At: 11:30 am
85th Street and 37th Avenue
Jackson Heights, NY 11372

We will also have a tent and table set up at the post parade festival. Please stop by to say hello and hang out!

Directions By Public Transportation: take the E,F,R,G subway trains to “Roosevelt Avenue/Jackson Heights” station, or take the #7 subway train to “74th Street – Broadway” station.

LGBT Asian American / South Asian Post-Queens Pride Party!

• Date: Sunday, June 2, 2013

• Time: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.

• Location:  Glen, Chris, and Malcolm’s Home: 3405 80th Street, Apt. 22 ( corner of 34th Ave and 80th St. in Jackson Heights, Queens)

Our party is open to ALL, so join us before the weekend ends!
$20 is suggested as the proceeds benefit SALGA, GAPIMNY, QWAVE and ALP

Support is for you – come to discuss this month’s topic or whatever may be on your mind. SALGA’s Support group is limited to folks who identify as South Asian and to their intimate family.

SALGA’s monthly support group meetings are a SAFE, CONFIDENTIAL space for you to join a group atmosphere to talk about issues that affect your life and well-being. We provide a supportive atmosphere to all attendees.

DesiQ 2013 calls all South Asian queer and trans folk—activists, organizers, and artists; students, workers, and professionals; youth, seasoned mid-lifers and our silvered elders—to come together and dialogue, gossip, strategize, dance, eat, flirt, listen, contribute, learn, connect, collaborate, make friends, and generally celebrate our amazing and beautiful selves, communities, and lives!

DesiQ 2013 Conference will be held on July 4-6, 2013 at UCSF Mission Bay Campus, San Francisco and Gala will be held on July 6, 2013 at Scottish Rite Center, Oakland.
